JERZY DROZD Instruments Guarantees

The services we provide reflect the very high quality standards that distinguish our creations and contribute to their long-lasting durability.

JERZY DROZD guarantees your JERZY DROZD instrument against any manufacturing fault for a period of (4) four years from the date of purchase specified on the Certificate of Origin.

The international warranty applies to instruments acquired directly through JERZY DROZD without further formalities.

A JERZY DROZD purchased through an authorized seller require additional procedures. For the warranty to be valid, the original purchaser must complete the JERZY DROZD registration form within (3) three months of the original purchase. Once completed the registration form, the purchaser will obtain the Certificate of Origin of his JERZY DROZD instrument and join the privileged family of JERZY DROZD owners.

The warranty applies only if the JERZY DROZD instrument is presented with its Certificate of Origin. If the Certificate of Origin of the instrument is incomplete or has been modified or altered in any way, this Certificate will be considered invalid and the international guarantee will be void.

If your JERZY DROZD instrument shows manufacturing defect fault during the applicable guarantee period, we undertake to repair it without charge. In this event, please address to our Client Adviser by e-mail. He will advise you on the procedure to follow.

The repair will be made in THE BIRD RESTORE CENTRE. THE BIRD RESTORE CENTRE is the only authorized center in the world for service, repair and rebuild JERZY DROZD instruments - and the only place where you are guaranteed that 100% genuine JERZY DROZD parts will be used to restore your JERZY DROZD.

Limitations and Exceptions to JERZY DROZD's International Warranty

The warranty is excluded in the following cases:

Any defects caused by improper use, by reference to the nature of the instrument or recommendations from JERZY DROZD, negligence, accident or fair wear and tear, or by any technical intervention carried out by any  person not authorized by JERZY DROZD.

Any defects resulting from the addition of any part or accessory not originating from JERZY DROZD.

Natural cracking of wood or applied finishes on instrument or it ́s components due to changes in temperature and humidity.

Potentiometers, jack input and frets are specially subject to fair wear and tear. Therefore 2 years warranty is granted on these items.

Any work made by an unauthorized agent outside THE BIRD RESTORE CENTRE immediately voids the JERZY DROZD Warranty.

No claim for damages or for subsequent cancellation of the sale or for subsequent reduction of the price will be considered.

This warraty is subject to Spanish Law.

All applicable implied guarantess are hereby limited in duration of the duration of this warranty. Under no circumstances will JERZY DROZD be lialable for any indirect consequential damages of any kind.

JERZY DROZD's obligation is strictly limited to repair or replace damaged parts as expressly stated in this limited warranty. The authorized JERZY DROZD sellers carry sole responsibility for any other guarantees.

 All shipping charges, including customs and other taxes, are responsibility of the owner.

JERZY DROZD offers you the possibility of contracting an extended warranty for your cherished JERZY DROZD. Instruments purchased from authorized sellers may not be eligible for this extended warranty, or in any case, the extended warranty cost will be superior to the extended warranty for instruments purchased directly from JERZY DROZD.

Once you have paid a given amount to be considered your down payment, our Director will start working closely with you in your project, sharing and evaluating all the elements and options that make up your JERZY DROZD. You will be able to design step by step, specification by specification, your own JERZY DROZD creation. This close work with you is what we call the JERZY DROZD Bespoke Experience.

Please take into account that you will not decide any detail of your JERZY DROZD before starting to design your JERZY DROZD. However, if you want to know the cost of some personalised specifications before, you can always ask for a quotation. The cost of this quotation is EUR 250. We would deduct this amount from the final price of your JERZY DROZD if you paid the sum required to start the designing process within six months from the quotation date.

After starting the designing stage, we will make all the necessary quotations at no cost.

The delivery time depends on our waiting list and the final specifications of your instrument. Building a high-quality musical instrument requires a minimum of ten months.

About two months before master luthier Jerzy Drozd has completed your instrument, we will ask you to make the remaining payment of your JERZY DROZD. At this moment, we will momentarily interrupt the building process until the reception of this final payment. If any problem arises and you cannot make your payment, please let us know as soon as possible, we will not cancel your order until six months has elapsed.

Once we have received your final payment, Mr Drozd will finish your instrument. Once completed, we will deliver your JERZY DROZD creation to your address.
